Orbital Cellulitis

• Vision threatening (11% of patients)
• Occurs behind the orbital septum
• Proptosis
• Pain and/or restriction with EOM
• Afferent pupillary defect
• Toxic appearance
• CT orbits with and without contrast

Pre-Septal Cellulits

• Infection of eyelids and/or periorbital soft tissue
• Occurs in front of the orbital septum
